Nicknames
Once you get a nickname you really have a hard time losing it. Most people have one. I am lucky (??) enough to have three.
#1--Hoot. Yes, you did read that right. My very first nickname. I have no recolection of how it started or why, but to this day some of my old family friends and family still call me Hoot.
#2--Lens. This came from some guy that asked me if I had a nickname and of course not wanting to tell him "Hoot" I just replied that people often just call me Linds. Well he obviously didn't understand and proceeded to write me something addressed to "Lens" (as in contact). Well once that story was told Lens really stuck.
#3--Chopper. No I don't own a motorcycle. This very strange/stupid girl that worked at Shennanigan's would ask me what my name was EVERY shift we worked together for four months. Then one day she asked me "is your name Chopper?" Well of course everyone thought that was hilarious so now nickname #3 is here to stay.
P.S.--I always think of this episode when I think of nickanmes!

Champagne taste on a beer budget
How pretty does this look?! And it's just a Tostitos Scoop chip with your classic taco items inside. The difference is in the beautifully piped sour cream. Just think of how many things you can class up with a cheap piping tool. All the class and none of the expense. These too would be awesome at a tailgate (only 1 more day Georgia fans!)

The Pimp Snap Cup
Hence the name of the final product: the Pimp Snap Cup. I think they all turned out really well and these definitely draw the attention to the birthday girls! This was also so fun to make. Here is what materials you will need:
-a plastic glass (preferably in a wine glass/goblet style)
-a glue gun
-jewels (real or fake depending on your budget--if you choose fake they can be found at Michael's)
-band-aids (because you will burn yourself on that glue gun--a million times--or at least I did)
Directions:
Have an idea of a pattern you would like to stick to with the jewels, then start gluing!! Fill with your beverage of choice.
End result:
