Goodbye white

This is the last week we can wear white so I'm going to use it up! What a great Labor Day party idea to have everything in white. Just don't serve anything that stains :)

Ahh fall....next week at this time I as well as millions of others will be gearing up for the greatest time of the year: College football season. I'm loving these little ideas for the tailgate. Go Dawgs!

Is green the new purple?

Hi my name is Lindsey and I'm obsessed with purple. But wait, lately I've kind of been obsessed with green. I'm slowly gravitating more towards it and leaving purple behind (well not completely, but there is competition). I especially love green and white together. So clean and fresh!

Down to the last detail

I love tiny details, and these are an especially fun way to display your cutlery. My favorite is the invitation with the set in it already. Does that mean you if you forget your cutlery set you can't eat at the party?

A little cheese with that wine

I'm loving this cheese display. One of my favorite things to do is try a bunch of cheeses, especially at happy hour :)

Just Frame it

I always love to shop for frames, and often don't get pictures in them. It's hard to print pictures in the days of digital photography and all the photo sharing websites out there. This would be a great use of frames, especially on that white wall. You could even buy old beat up frames from Goodwill and paint them.

Back to School

It's that time of year!! This is the cutest centerpiece for a back to school teacher event. I do miss shopping for new school supplies and picking out what I'm going to wear on my first day back. They should have a first day of something for adults.

Comfort Food

My parents are coming to eat dinner with me tonight! We are all preparing for the return of my brother and his wife to Georgia. Nothing reminds me of family time more than milk and cookies and what a cute way to serve them! This would be especially fun at the end of an event.

A perfect combonation

I'm loving this aqua and red color combo. It isn't too girly, not too manly, it's just right. And of course red and blue make purple so that probably explains my infatuation.

I can feel it in the air

School is back in session, college kids are moving back in to Athens, but it's still hot. However I can see it in the near future when the tempatures won't be above 95 degrees and we can eat outside again. It's SO close.

Child's Play

We often do kids tables at weddings for our brides, so when I came across this picture I was so excited! What a perfect way to display the kids food at any adult party. This would also be great for a kids birthday party.

Just for starters

One of my favorite things is an appetizer. I could eat only appetizers for the rest of my life (this is why I love a tapas restaurant!) And what a great way to serve appetizers then on these cute little forks!

The color that must not be named

Ok so I don't generally like orange. In Athens GA we are raised to hate it. Auburn, Florida, Tennessee, all orange. YUCK! But this event, while it does have some orange, I'm liking it. I hope I don't get beat up later. GO DAWGS! (just for safe measure)
